All our site technicians have substantial experience as refrigeration and air conditioning engineers. We have garnered extensive knowledge since the mid 1980s, specifically in close control computer room air conditioning where the units must be repaired the same day.

When we formed Precise, we felt that many companies had lost focus on the most important factor in managed services - We decided that our main concern would always be the client.

Executive Directors:

Bob Murray has over 25 years experience in air conditioning, facilities management and water treatement.

John Ragsdale who has 25 years experience in air conditioning, 15 years as a commissioning engineer and also experienced in contract management.

Board Members:

Chairman and Non-Executive Director, Ges Whitmore, has been a Director of a number of companies for over 25 years and won Entrepreneur of the Year in 1999, for the Midlands area.

Non-Executive Director, Derek Sampson, worked for Barclays bank in a senior position for over 15 years and advised the development of Barclaycard.

McKesson

Precise Managed services began working with McKesson in 2005. This started with a basic contract for a handyman to change light bulbs and put up white boards, but was soon extended to give Precise responsibility for all mechanical and electrical equipment on site.

McKesson also had a data hall in London, with air conditioning provided by another company. On one occasion the temperatures rose to dangerous levels and the data hall began crashing repeatedly. The maintenance contractor did not respond to the facilities manager's calls, so McKesson called Precise - we sent two engineers who worked through the night and repaired the problem.

Martin Winslow, the Data Hall Manager, told us we had "repaired more in 12 hours than our maintenance contractor did in three months".

Following this, McKesson's data hall has been moved to Warwick where Precise maintain all the ancillary equipment, day to day running and manage 24 hour staff.
